The wells mimic stone and are made of composite making them resistant to the elements. The window well covers are made of polycarbonate and are engineered to hold 500 lbs. and will help keep your window well clean from leaves and debris.
In Wisconsin, egress windows are mandated for basements and ground floors used as sleeping areas to ensure safe emergency exits. These requirements are outlined in the Wisconsin Administrative Code, SPS 321.03.
